Daphne Loudermilk of Newnan passed away January 26, 2017 at the age of 47. Daphne was a graduate of GA State University with a degree in Education. She taught High School English for 7 years at Creekside HS in Fulton County. Daphne entered into the educational publishing world with Perfection Learning in 2002 and joined the Triumph Learning/Coach team in 2005, where she spent the remainder of her career . Daphne loved all animals, but especially Macy & Izzy her fur babies. She was an avid reader. She could be found working, hanging out with April, reading OR, her favorite pastime watching any & all of our ATL sports teams. She often said it was hard being a fan in Atlanta, but she was always among the most faithful. Her favorite sports event was game day Saturday, watching the GA Bulldogs. Professionally, many will miss her educational knowledge and passion for teaching and learning, but personally, those that knew her will miss her genuinely warm spirit, caring heart, friendly smile, positive personality and one-of-a-kind laugh.
Daphne is survived by her loving partner of 16 years, April Jones of Newnan; parents, Bill and Betty Loudermilk of Newnan; sisters, Brenda Fusco and her husband Rick of McDonough; Beth Mendonca and her husband Mike of Mesa, AZ; nieces and nephews, Alania Blanchard; Andrew Blanchard; Clint Smith and his wife Caitlin; Joshua Smith; SarahBeth Lowenberg; mother-in-law, Kim Jones of Newnan and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Thank you and the whole GERA organization for your support and kindness as her friend & colleague over the past 17 years.
